NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB) - Niagara Falls Police are hunting for a hit-and-run driver after a serious crash along Hyde Park Boulevard Monday night.
Officers tell News 4 the driver hit a woman in her 30s and a six-year old child while they crossing Hyde Park Boulevard around 10 p.m., then took off. The woman was taken to ECMC with very serious injuries, while the child suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to Women and Children's Hospital of Buffalo.
Police tell us they are looking for an older-model "boxy" maroon vehicle with front-end damage and possibly a broken window. The number for the police traffic bureau is 286-4563.
