Well it happened – early Thursday morning in western Michigan.
Witnesses told WOOD-TV that the accident happened after a woman backed into some machinery in a hotel parking lot in Spring Lake, about 30 miles west of Grand Rapids.
Witnesses say the woman then drove forward and her SUV rolled through a wooded area and went airborne.
The automobile eventually crashed at a nearby dock... landing on a boat.
Police said alcohol was not involved, but that a medical issue may have led to the wreck.
The driver suffered a cut on her face and was taken to the hospital.
