HAMLIN, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Holley woman has died following a two-car crash in Monroe County on Sunday night.
Danielle M. Gowanlock, 20, was a passenger in a car driven by Jacob K. Stevens, 20, also of Holley.
Police report that Stevens was driving west on Church Street and allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection with Lake Road, and struck a southbound sport utility vehicle driven by Rebecca A. Maynard, 45, of Brockport about 7 p.m.
Gowanlock was transported to Lakeside Memorial Hospital in Brockport, where she was pronounced dead.
Two passengers in Maynard's SUV suffered minor injuries in the crash and were taken to Strong Memorial Hospital. Both were treated and released. Maynard was not injured.
Deputies found marijuana and drug paraphernalia in Stevens' car Sunday night. Charges are pending.
