News 4 has confirmed the State Commission on Judicial Conduct isinvestigating Supreme Court Justice Joseph Makowski's interventionin a DWI case pending against a local attorney.
Published reports indicate Justice Makowski provided a writtenstatement on behalf of attorney Anne Adams, a former prosecutor inthe Erie County District Attorney's office.
Adams was charged with Driving While Intoxicated by Hamburgpolice back in September.
