BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Hamburg native Joe Resetarits grew up watching the Buffalo Bandits, then saw his brother, Frank, suit up for the team. This year, he will get his shot with his hometown team.
The Bandits traded for Resetarits Monday in a draft-day deal. The former first-round draft pick scored 24 points in 14 games last year with Calgary.
"It's finally sunk in the other day," said Resetarits. "Just to be back, playing in front of a great crowd in Buffalo, it's amazing."
The Bandits open the season December 28th against Philadelphia.
