BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Buffalo Bills player Mario Williams is taking his ex-fiancee to court over a $785,000, 10-carat diamond engagement ring.
The defensive end came to Buffalo in March 2012, and his decision to play for the Bills depended on his then fiancee's approval of the area. In the end, Williams signed with the team, but his relationship with his fiancee didn't last.
Now Gregg Rosenthal of NFL.com reports that Williams is suing his ex-fiancee for the ring back. In a lawsuit filed in a court in Houston, Williams claims Erin Marzouki never intended to marry him, only to get money from him and acquire gifts.
On top of the ring, Williams is also suing for other charges totaling over $300,000 and asking for a restraining order to prevent Marzouki from selling the ring.
