BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - The Buffalo Bills have signed Quarterback Matt Flynn. This is Flynn's fourth team in six seasons. Flynn joins the Bills after being released by the Oakland Raiders on October 7. The QB has three career starts in the NFL.
According to the Associated Press, Flynn's workout Monday had been scheduled before Buffalo's 27-24 overtime loss to Cincinnati on Sunday, the Bills (2-4) could be in need of another starter after Lewis sprained his right ankle against the Bengals. Lewis said tests were negative, but it's uncertain whether he will be ready to play at Miami (3-2) on Sunday.
In three career starts, Flynn has completed 76-of-113 passes for 958 yards with 10 touchdowns and three interceptions for a 111.9 passer rating. He has appeared in 39 games with totals of 109 completions, 1,329 passing yards and 10 touchdowns.
