ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) - The Buffalo Bills may play Quarterback Jeff Tuel Sunday, with Thad Lewis described as “doubtful” Friday afternoon. Bills Head Coach Doug Marrone has not announced an official decision, and says the team is holding out to see if Lewis is ready. This information came from the Buffalo Bills’ Twitter account.
The Bills quoted Tuel, "I've had more reps this week than any other week. I definitely feel prepared (to start if needed.)"
Lewis took several hard hits last Sunday against the Saints, but played every snap on offense. Thad Lewis missed his second straight day of practice for the Bills Thursday, still nursing bruised ribs.
Bills quarterback EJ Manuel returned to practice Thursday for the first time since injuring his knee October 3rd against the Browns. Despite his appearance on the field, Bills Head Coach Doug Marrone has already ruled him out for Sunday.
