At the Aud Sports Bar and Grill, hockey may be the game of thenight, but Buffalo sports fans are always willing to talk abouttheir beloved Bills. And the news out of One Bills Drive wasshocking to fans, to say the least.
Brett Hammond commented, "There was no talk of him, I guess, tothe fans before it came out, at least I didn't hear anything."
It's safe to say fans aren't exactly cheering for new head coachChan Gailey.
"More of a Dick Jauron kinda stuff getting a no name guy in.It's kinda sad because we had Cower and Billacheck that werementioned and we didn't get them," said Ben Yount.
Aaron Land commented, "I believe this was a reach likeeverything else they've had and I don't think it's gonna do muchbetter than they had in the past."
Land has been a season ticket holder for 12 years and says eventhough Chan Gailey may be new to the team, it feels like more ofthe same old, same old.
"It's not gonna pull better players in free agency and it's notgonna have any aspect in the draft," added Land.
Despite working with some big teams and talented players, Billsfans are pretty critical. Some are giving him the benefit of thedoubt.
Hammond said, "I mean he's been in the NFL and he's been incollege football so he's gotta know what he's doing, we'll see whathappens."
