ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) - Thad Lewis missed his second straight day of practice for the Bills, still nursing bruised ribs. Bills Head Coach Doug Marrone said he continues to be "50-50" to play on Sunday.
Once again, backups Jeff Tuel and Matt Flynn took first-team reps in Lewis's place. Marrone declined to say whether one of those two was pulling ahead in the competition, if Lewis can not play Sunday.
Lewis took several hard hits last Sunday against the Saints, but played every snap on offense. Wide receiver Stevie Johnson joked after that game, saying "If it ain't a broken leg, I believe he'll be out there."
