ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) - The Buffalo Bills beefed up the defensive line Tuesday, signing run-stuffing defensive tackle Alan Branch.
Branch, who played the last two seasons with the Seahawks, has 138 tackles and 8 sacks in 78 career games with Seattle and Arizona.
"I am just excited to get on a team that has such young coaches that seem so passionate about the game," said Branch.
Branch brings versatility to the line, with the ability to play inside as a tackle on a four-man front, or outside at defensive end in a 3-4 scheme.
"Honestly, I fit every single spot on the defensive front. I like to have experience playing every single spot that they have on this team for the defensive front. I have played the end, nose all the way to the three-technique. So wherever they want me to be, I will basically be there," said Branch.
The Bills also announced that Tashard Choice has extended his contract to stay with Buffalo, and Dorin Dickerson signed his contract as well.
