BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - It may feel like winter outside, but at Coca-Cola Field in Buffalo, spring has arrived.
The Buffalo Bisons are gearing up for the new season and they'll be sporting a new look this year. The team unveiled new uniforms on Wednesday, as well as a new logo and a slew of other features at the ballpark. It's all part of an effort to bridge the gap across the border.
Bisons VP, General Manager Mike Buczkowski said, "We recognize that there will be more Canadian fans than ever. We're going to sing the Canadian Anthem along with the U.S. National Anthem at every game. The poutine obviously is a great change to make our Canadian fans feel a little more at home."
The home opener is Thursday, April 4 against Rochester.
