BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Sabres forward Patrick Kaleta will appeal his ten-game suspension, according to a TSN report.
Kaleta, who has already served the first thee games of the suspension, will now await NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman's decision on his appeal.
The NHL suspended Kaleta for a check to the head during last week's game against Columbus.
Buffalo hosts Vancouver Thursday night.
