ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) - Bills quarterback EJ Manuel returned to practice today for the first time since injuring his knee October 3rd against the Browns.
Despite his appearance on the field, Bills Head Coach Doug Marrone has already ruled him out for Sunday.
"Obviously EJ was cleared to go on the field today so we’re working with him. He’s not going to play. The doctors haven’t cleared him," said Marrone.
Manuel was a limited participant in practice today. The Bills were also without Thad Lewis, who has a rib contusion and the flu. Jeff Tuel took most of the first-team reps in their place today, with Matt Flynn seeing some time as well.
