MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — Grizzlies guard Tony Allen is trying to make sure at least 500 people get a chance to attend Memphis' home opener.
Allen bought 500 tickets that will be given away Thursday after the Grizzlies' practice starting at approximately 2 p.m. CDT.
The tickets will be given out in the grand lobby of the FedExForum on a first-come, first-served basis Thursday with a limit of two tickets per person.
The Grizzlies host the Detroit Pistons on Friday night in their home opener.
