ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) - The Bills are counting on CJ Spiller to be a big part of their offense - regardless of whether the other team is focused on stopping him. Spiller is trying to bounce back from a rough outing in week one against the Patriots.
"Kind of went back to some of my old habits," said Spiller. "I wasn’t letting the offensive line do its job because I was rushing stuff. Total opposite of what I’ve been doing since March and training camp."
The Patriots held Spiller to just 41 rushing yards. He averaged less than three yards per carry, and also less than three yards per catch.
"The great thing about it is its very correctable," said Spiller. "That’s the thing that we’ve been preaching, that I’ve been preached on this week. Just do the little things, take my time, tempo and when I make a decision, just go with it."
