Buffalo, NY (wivb.com) - NFL.com's Ian Rapoport is reporting that the Seattle Seahawks are in talks with Buffalo to trade Quarterback Tarvaris Jackson to the Bills.
This comes after Jackson has fallen out in the circle of rotating quarterbacks in the Seahawk offense. Draft pick Russell Wilson has taken a step forward to be Seattle's starting QB come season start. They also signed Matt Flynn in the offseason.
Jackson started 15 games last season for Seattle, completing 60 percent of his passes for 3,091 yards, 14 touchdowns, but did add 13 interceptions. He was drafted by Minnesota in 2006.
This could mean the end of Vince Young in Buffalo. Signed in the offseason, Young has competed with Tyler Thigpen to backup starting QB Ryan Fitzpatrick. Young took a step forward with his preseason performance in Minnesota two weeks ago, but threw two costly interceptions in Saturday night's loss to Pittsburgh. If the addition of Jackson goes through, it might just work out to be an upgrade over Young and Thigpen.
