BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - With Jason Pominville on the move to Minnesota, the Sabres' remaining stars are wondering what their future in Buffalo may hold.
Thomas Vanek and Ryan Miller talked about that unknown factor after practice Thursday.
"Change is happening," said Vanek.
Miller said he expects to try and get some answers after the season. "Talk to Darcy about what his plan is and how I'm going to fit into it or what's going on," said Miller.
Vanek, Miller, and Pominville were three players the Sabres tried to build a championship team around. Now that one of those three has been traded away, and with the other two having just one year left on his contract after this season comes to an end, that era could be coming to an end.
