Town of Ripley, NY (WIVB) - Friday evening Chautauqua County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a reported harassment on West Main Street in the Town of Ripley.
Through an investigation, it was discovered that 43 year-old James Simpson did allegedly strike and damage a vehicle using a baseball bat.
The vehicle struck by Simpson was occupied by multiple young children.
Simpson was charged with third degree criminal mischief, second degree menacing, and endangering the welfare of a child.
He was arraigned in the Town of Ripley court and was remanded to Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of bail.
