Bills captain Eric Wood is a former first-round pick, who has been a key component in the Bills offense since being drafted in 2009. His road to the NFL was far from straight and narrow.

In his 10th NFL game he broke his leg, leaving his future unknown. Throughout any adversity Eric’s faced in his journey, he has maintained a positive attitude. He cites a good attitude as the key ingredient to success.
In talking with Eric, who recently signed a four-year extension, it appears he takes each day as it comes. He doesn’t seem too concerned with tomorrow or too wrapped up in yesterday. Rather, he focuses on today, giving his all to the task at hand. By primarily concentrating on the process, Wood has been able to produce results.
