ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) - The Buffalo Bills took the time to honor past players and coaches who have donned the Bills uniform during halftime Sunday. Usually the franchise adds one name each year to the Wall of Fame, but the team decided to change things up Sunday.
Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas, and all the other guys that are on the Bills Wall of Fame were honored at the Ralph. They received new rings and blazers with the new Wall of Fame logo. Despite their fame in western New York, the honored didn’t forget about the players who haven’t made the wall yet.
Former Bills Coach Marv Levy said, “It takes so many others. I can’t think of a more team-oriented game than what football is and I’m so privileged during a 12-year coaching period that I was here with the Buffalo Bills to have the type of individuals with whom I was able to inter work.”
The Bills may have gotten a jolt from their older generation greats, going on to the last second win over the Panthers.
