ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) - C.J. Spiller wants to play Thursday night against the Browns, but a lot will depend on how much his injured ankle improves over the next two days.
"Tomorrow will be a huge day for us, see what the reaction will be," said Spiller. "It felt good, to be honest I didn’t think I’d be able to jog today, so that’s an encouraging sign."
While Spiller was officially listed as a non-participant in practice, Fred Jackson practiced on a limited basis. His left knee was heavily wrapped to protect his sprained MCL.
"I'll definitely be ready," said Jackson.
Safety/Cornerback Aaron Williams also said he plans to play Thursday night, despite a lower back injury. Cornerback Leodis McKelvin will likely be a game-time decision again with a hamstring injury. Safety Jairus Byrd fully practiced Tuesday, but his status is unclear for Thursday.
