Heather Prusak joined the News 4 Sports team in April 2020 but is no stranger to Buffalo. She has spent the past five-plus years covering all Western New York sports. 

That is why she was excited to make the jump to the Official Broadcast Station of the Buffalo Bills and home of the University at Buffalo Bulls and Buffalo Bisons. 

Not only does she love covering sports here, but she also gets to do it in her hometown. Heather grew up in Western New York and is a proud native of Hamburg where she graduated from Hamburg High School. 

Even in college, Heather was never too far from home. She graduated from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications in 2014 with a degree in broadcast and digital journalism. 

While at Syracuse, she was the sports director of CitrusTV and the bureau chief of the ESPNU Campus Connection group. As if that wasn’t enough, Heather also worked on the sports staff at WAER Radio. 

During her summers home from school, Heather interned with the Bisons.
