Meteorologist Jordyn Jenna joined the News 4 Warn Weather Team in October of 2021. She is excited to be in Buffalo because it feels just like home. Jordyn grew up in the lake effect snow belt in a small town called Union City in Erie County, Pennsylvania.
Before moving closer to home, Jordyn worked at WNCT in Greenville, NC as the Weekend Evening and Digital Meteorologist where she covered year-round tornado warnings and the landfall of Hurricane Isaias.
Jordyn attended Penn State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology and Atmospheric Sciences. Throughout her time at Penn State, she traveled to several different places for internships to learn the ins and outs of forecasting different types of weather including Erie, Pennsylvania; Memphis, Tennessee and Rochester, Minnesota.
Jordyn loves to spend time exploring new areas, scenic views, and celebrating what each season has to offer. She also has an adorable Jack Russel/Aussie mix named Radar who is quick to learn new tricks.
