Hollywood actor and Cheektowaga native Bill Fichtner came home to western New York Sunday night for a screening of his movie Cold Brook.
The screening was held at the North Park Theatre in Buffalo.
Fichtner, who co-wrote and starred in the movie, invited the cast and crew, along with family and friends, to the special screening.
Most of the movie was filmed across western New York in locations like East Aurora, the Buffalo History Museum and Buffalo State College.
“People see shots of Buffalo and they’re like ‘Where did you shoot that?’ People in the business really get used to the same locations and it’s gorgeous here. We know that,” Fichtner said.
The movie already received one reward at the Napa Valley Film Festival.
No official release date has been determined for the movie.
