Fully vaccinated nursing home workers no longer need to be tested twice a week for COVID-19

ALBANY, N.Y. (WIVB) — New York State is changing a rule for nursing homes as more people become vaccinated.

Nursing home workers who are fully vaccinated no longer have to be tested for COVID-19 twice a week. Workers who have not been vaccinated still have to get tested.

The state health department says workers who show symptoms of coronavirus must be tested whether or not they have been vaccinated.
