Clarence Center Elementary School student tests negative for coronavirus

(WIVB)– UPDATE: The Erie County Department of Health has informed officials in the Clarence Central School District the student has tested negative for coronavirus.

ORIGINAL: The Erie County Department of Health is warning about possible exposure from the Clarence Coronavirus case. A child in the home of the patient is a student at Clarence Center Elementary School and went to school all last week.

That child had no symptoms but is being tested right now. Those test results are expected by the end of the day Monday.

After learning the news parents at the school are left with more questions than answers.  We spoke to one about his concerns.

The Clarence Central School District will deep clean all of its buildings and is closed until further notice.
