(WIVB)– New York State released new data about coronavirus deaths in nursing homes.
The Department of Health now reports more than 1,300 confirmed deaths in Western New York’s nursing homes.
Nearly 300 patients died outside of a facility.
Erie County has the second-highest total in the state.
