BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Four of Buffalo’s Bravest were brought to hospitals after being hurt at a house fire near Martin Luther King, Jr. Park early Saturday.
Someone called to report the fire on Rohr Street around 1:20 a.m.
Crews requested extra help to fight the fire in the vacant house.
They dealt with potential dangers including stairs in the attic being burned out.
“We had two firefighters that fell through the stairs on the second floor, going up into the attic. As far as I know right now they’re all in good condition,” said Michael Tuberdyke, Division Chief, Buffalo Fire Department.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
