A fire broke out a board a boat in Chautauqua County Wednesday evening.
The fire broke out around 7:45 p.m. Wednesday on a vessel near a boat launch in Celeron.
The occupants of the boat were able to put the flames out with a fire extinguisher. They were assisted and taken back to shore by another boater.
The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office Marine Unit towed the disabled boat to shore.
No injuries were reported.
