A Buffalo man has been arrested following a months-long investigation by the Erie County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit, the Buffalo Police Narcotics Unit, and the Department of Homeland Security.
Frank Battaglia, 36, of Buffalo, was arrested Tuesday and charged with a felony count of possession of marijuana, criminal possession of a controlled substance, and three counts of criminal use of drug paraphernalia.
According to sheriff’s reports, members of both narcotics units and the Dept. of Homeland Security executed a search warrant at 93 Roanoke Parkway on Tuesday. Inside the home, law enforcement discovered nearly six pounds of marijuana, digital scales covered in narcotics residue, cutting agents, and packing materials.
According to the sheriff’s office, Battaglia has prior arrests and convictions from the DEA for narcotics-related offenses.
Battaglia is being held pending his arraignment.
