Ten years ago, Lockport native, John Ottaviano had a vision to bring a state of the art arena to the area. “I still pinch myself when I come into the building,” he said. “I can’t believe it.”

He and the Lockport Ice Arena and Sports Complex Inc. worked together to raise the $15 million dollars needed to make it a reality.  “We could’ve built on a clean vacant site, for example on transit road and saved a million dollars,” he said.  “But our organization felt we needed this down town for the community.”

The twin NHL pad facility has become home to multiple hockey leagues, ice skaters and of course the Lockmonster. So everyone from the staff to the skaters we’re thrilled hearing Cornerstone earned Buffalo’s Best.

They offer open skate, laser light show skating and bumper cars.  For more information head to CornerstoneIceArena.com
