Bull Rush: #6 Buffalo races past #11 Arizona State and into Round of 32

News

Heading into the NCAA Tournament, the UB Men’s basketball team knew they weren’t going to sneak up or surprise anybody with their play.

The 6th seeded Bulls made quite the statement in the opening round, running past #11 Arizona State 91-74 to secure the program’s second win in NCAA Tournament history.

With the victory, Buffalo will now square off against 3rd seeded Texas Tech in the Round of 32.

UB went 10-for-27 from beyond the arc while ASU struggled to shoot from distance hitting just three of their 22 attempts.

Jeremy Harris and Nick Perkins each recorded a double-double, pacing UB with 21 points and 10 rebounds.

CJ Massinburg finished with 18 points while Jayvon Graves chipped in with 13.
