Cases adjourned for two men charged Christmas Eve with deaths of family members

The cases for two Buffalo men charged with killing immediate family members just before Christmas have been adjourned. 

Alec Swiderski, accused of killing his grandmother in her Kamper Street home, is scheduled to return to court at 2 p.m. on Jan. 9. 

Gus Oldham, charged with killing his mother at their Vernon Place home, will return to court at 9:30 a.m. Jan. 16. 

Both cases were adjourned Friday morning pending the results of a forensic examination. 

The cases are unrelated.
