Community rallies to fight against child trafficking

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)–Dozens of people gathered in the Elmwood Village Saturday to raise awareness for child exploitation and human trafficking.

It was organized by Freedom for the Children and Operation Underground Railroad.
Organizers say up to 800-thousand people are trafficked across international borders each year, half of whom are children.

Cities nationwide held walks Saturday to raise awareness for child trafficking.
