Crane tips over at New York Power Authority

UPDATE:   The Community Affairs Director for the New York Power Authority, Lou Paonessa says Clark Rigging will not complete the lifting of the tipped crane until tomorrow.

Paonessa says this will not impact their inspection schedule.

ORIGINAL: A crane on the property of the New York Power Authority tipped over on Tuesday morning.

It appears that a crew contracted by the Power Authority was at the Niagara Scenic Parkway location to do some work on the site.

The crew was apparently moving the crane when there was a counterweight issue that caused the crane to tip over.

No one was hurt. Crews began righting the crane after the incident.
