UPDATE: 33-year-old-man killed in shooting near Niagara and Farmer Street in Buffalo Wednesday night


BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)– The Buffalo Police Department has updated News 4 on the February 24 Niagara Street and Farmer Street shooting.


Two men were inside a vehicle when they were struck by gunfire around 10:40 p.m. Wednesday night.

BPD tells us a 33-year old man was declared dead at the scene of the shooting near Niagara and Farmer Streets.

We’re told another man, 26-years-old, was grazed by gunfire. He was treated and released on site.

Buffalo Police ask if anyone has information about the shooting to call or text the Confidential TIPCALL Line at (716) 341-9522.


Buffalo Police are investigating the shooting of a man near Niagara Street and Farmer Street.

Authorities tell us officers responded to a call around 10:40 p.m. and found a man struck by gunfire.

We’re told the man’s injuries looked serious.

BPD has provided no other details.
