A 20-year-old Buffalo man has pleaded guilty to murder in the death of his girlfriend’s step-grandfather.

Romaine Jirdon admitted that in November of last year, he fatally beat and stabbed 58-year-old Thomas Heath inside his W. Ferry Ave. home.

Prosecutors say Jirdon worked in concert with Heath’s step-granddaughter, 18-year-old Alexandria Heath.

The case against Heath is pending. She will be back in court on December 17 for a pre-trial conference.

Jirdon faces 20 years to life in prison when he is sentenced on January 4. Both Jirdon and Heath remain in custody without bail.
