BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — An animal abuse case in East Aurora is finally coming to a close.
Convicted animal abuser Beth Hoskins lost her appeal in court Thursday. After five years of battling in court, Beth Hoskins learned her conviction of 52 charges of animal cruelty will stand.
She was originally found guilty in 2012, two years after police found more than 100 neglected horses and cats at her home. She was sentenced to probation and community service, but served a 90-day jail sentence for violating her probation.
The county judge says she didn’t check in with her probation officer or file necessary reports about the horses still in her care.
