Jamestown man accused of breaking in, exposing himself

Crime

A Jamestown man is accused of breaking into two homes on the city’s north side and exposing himself to someone inside one of the dwellings.

Jeffrey Buchanan is charged with public lewdness, burglary and attempted burglary and was taken to the city jail.

Police said the 29-year-old entered a Wilson Place home around 2 a.m. Friday through a kitchen window, where he was confronted inside by the resident.

About 15 minutes later, on the same street, is when Buchanan allegedly exposes himself to the occupant. Police said he was taken into custody nearby, a short time later.
