BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A murder trial in Buffalo ended in a mistrial after a judge determined there was juror misconduct.

Prosecutors will now have to retry the case against Lemuele Jackson, who was accused of killing a 26-year-old mother of two.

News 4 was told a juror went online to get information from the Erie County District Attorney’s website about the case and brought it to deliberations on Tuesday.

According to officials, the juror was the only obstacle in a unanimous verdict in the case.

A new trial has not been scheduled yet.
