ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) — When an alarm triggered at a local bar after hours, police rushed to respond.

Orchard Park Police say when they hit the scene, two men were fleeing the scene of a California Road bar. Officers caught one 21-year-old, but say they couldn’t capture another man who jumped a fence.

While investigating Bryce F. Sortino, officers say they learned the man broke into a local bar to steal beer and liquor. Officers charged Sortino with third degree burglary, fifth degree criminal possession of stolen property, possession of burglar tools and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Following arraignment, a judge remanded Sortino to jail on $1,000 bail.

Anybody who can help police identify the second suspect is asked to call police at (716) 662-6475.
