MEDINA, N.Y. (WIVB) — Police responded to a Village of Medina bar just after 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, according to the Medina PD.

The department and other surrounding agencies reportedly responded to Poler’s Pub on Main Street for a stabbing involving multiple victims, one of whom was described as “bleeding severely.”

Multiple victims were reportedly taken by a combination of ambulance and private vehicle to ECMC, where they all remain stable.

Initial investigation revealed that all parties involved knew each other and that the incident started as a verbal argument that turned into what was described as “a physical altercation in which a subject used a knife against multiple people.”

Emergency medical services administered first aid on-scene and applied a tourniquet to the leg of one of the victims, according to Medina Police. The Orleans County Sheriff’s department, State Police, Medina Fire Department Ambulance, and COVA Ambulance responded to the scene.

No charges have been filed, as the investigation remains ongoing. The alleged attacker is reportedly known to law enforcement and is wanted for questioning. Medina Police said the subject’s name will not be released at this time.
