Reward for information on shooting that killed 12-year-old boy in Buffalo raised to $32,500


BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A bigger reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the person who fatally shot a 12-year-old boy in Buffalo earlier this year.

This past April, authorities believe Badraldeen Elwaseem was struck by a stray bullet while inside his home on William St.

Shots had been fired in a parking lot near the apartment. Elwaseem was shot in the head while in his family’s kitchen. The bullet went through a window.

A 22-year-old was also shot, but he survived.

The reward for information on the shooter has been increased to $32,500.
