Tonawanda man sentenced on child porn conviction

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Tonawanda man was sentenced to eight years in prison on a child pornography conviction, as announced Friday by the U.S. Attorney's Office.

Steven Brzezinski, now 35, was initially charged in 2017. He had a previous conviction for endangering the welfare of a child.

Brzezinski pleaded guilty in October 2018. Prosecutors contended Brzezinski was found to be in possession of a tablet containing the pornography, and an investigation revealed that he had received the materials from a 15-year-old, via Facebook messenger. Federal prosecutors stated that the tablet revealed Brzezinski and the teen boy were in a romantic relationship.

Brzezinski was also sentenced to 20 years of supervised release.
