The Diocese of Buffalo has hired a new Director of Communications.
Kathy Baranski will start the position on Monday, replacing George Richert.
Born and raised in the Buffalo area, Baranski graduated from Syracuse University.
“She was president of her own communications company, worked as a special assistant for Jack Kemp during his tenure as HUD Secretary, as a public affairs officer for Edwin Meese III at the U.S. Department of Justice, and as a staff assistant in the Reagan White House, among other things,” the diocese wrote.
Her most recent position was as Director of Development at Christ the King School in Snyder.
