Drivers encouraged to find new routes as Buffalo crews work on Amherst St. viaduct


BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Buffalo’s Department of Public Works (DPW) has begun repair work on the Amherst St. viaduct near Tonawanda St.

The DPW says lane restrictions will be in place while they work. Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes.

The work may take a few days, depending on the weather.
