BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Calling for an immediate move to begin working on Erie County’s roads, Erie County Legislature’s Majority Caucus announced $26.8 million in funding for work in 2016.

“We are already into mid-April and we need to start immediately with as much work as the country needs to complete this year,” Legislator Ed Rath said.

The funding paves the way for projects for big projects in Erie County, like major work on Big Tree Road and on Girdle Road.

It also paves the way for roads that are common complaints to be addressed. Anybody with a concern about a county road can file a report with the county here.
