A woman who was lit on fire and severely burned by her boyfriend back in December is being discharged from ECMC.

Family members shared an update on Jessica Cameron via Facebook Wednesday night.

According to the post, Cameron has come far enough in her recovery that she will be able to do outpatient occupational therapy at home.

She was originally hospitalized following a domestic incident with her boyfriend, 28-year-old Jonathon White.

It’s alleged White lured her out to the dumpster area of the Tim Hortons on Niagara Street in Tonawanda and threw a flammable liquid on her.

White is set to appear in court on April 15 for a pre-trial hearing.
