Kick off 2019 with a first hike on January 1.
More than 75 sponsored hikes are being held at state parks, historic sites, wildlife areas and trails across New York. According to the New York Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, some of this year’s programs include a seal walk, walking history tour, snowshoe waterfall hike, pet-friendly treks, gorge walks, and more.
